The Order of Ash and Elm (Orða Asks o Emblo) is an order of merit in Hurmu. It is below the rank of Order of the Holy Lakes under which it is subservient. The Order of Ash and Elm was established by an Act of Senate establishing the Order of Ash and Elm in 1738.
Nominations
Nominations may be submitted to the Chancellor by:
- Senators
- Members of the Secretariat of State
- Head of State of a Realm
- Head of Government of a Realm
- Current members of the Order of the Ash and Elm
In reviewing the nominations, the Chancellor is helped by a committee on nominations, consisting, as of 1746, of:
- Utas Enrique Naian, Commander of the Order of the Holy Lakes
- Jaya Prabhu, Mother of the Senate
- Anastasia, Secretary of State for External Relations
