Education
Early life up to the age of seven largely unknown. An orphan on account of the Scouring, her date of birth was recorded by a displaced persons camp outside of Vijayanagara and may not be reliable. Following the liquidation of the camp by the Elwynnese Landstorm she was assessed to display Norse characteristics and was thus spared from the fate experienced by many Elw and Cimmerians during the pacification of Upper Elwynn following the Second Elwynnese Civil War.
Assessed to be clear of any latent defects or symptoms of radiological poisoning, she was declared fit for service and was therefore purchased into service by representatives of the N&H National Sector Party of Elluenuueq, which assumed responsibility for her education and indoctrination. Sent to Thorgilsby with other foundlings purchased in the high north, she survived the 1698–1699 famine, during which the instructors noted with approval the guile and ferocity with which she snatch away food from other children sometimes far stronger than herself. Selected for assessment, she was in 1700 AN tested by the Internal Security Bureau of Benacia Command and was found suitable for their needs. She was accordingly placed at a school attached to the Military Intelligence Directorate Training Station in Gloomburg until 1705 AN.
Whilst resident in Gloomburg she was transferred as a subject into the cadres of the N&H National Sector Party of the Unified Governorates. Enrolled in the Humanist Vanguard, she responded favourably to ideological conditioning and was considered for enlistment into the Vanguard Division, however the Internal Security Bureau demurred and preferred to retain her for its own purpose.
In the year 1705, at the age of sixteen, she was presented to the Honourable Company as a suitable candidate for an apprenticeship with its Benacian Directorate. Seemingly astute, she was able to meet the Honourable Company's required standards in numeracy and literacy, and was assessed to be fluent in Praeta and Istvanistani. Taken into the service of the Honourable Company on the basis of a long-term loan, she thereby became a "triple indenture", one beholden to the three paramount powers in the Benacian Union at that time.
