Isabelle Svetlana Chopin was a Florian politician who served as the 6th President of the Confederate States of Floria. Chopin served as president from 1719 to 1724, after a convincing victory in the 1719 Presidential election.
Under her leadership, Floria had undergone democratic backsliding and a shift to authoritarianism. Widespread human rights violations, including the imprisonment and repression of political opponents and suppression of LGBT+ rights has also been rife during Presidency.
Chopin was responsible for The Giftunheile, one of Keltia's most brutal conflicts in modern history in where Florians responded to distress from fellow Raspur Pact ally Moorland and invaded and eventually annihilated Ostland committing several war crimes most notably the use of chemical weapons of mass destruction on military and civilians targets. Modern war history experts state that Floria only committed to such a conflict to prove its status as a military superpower.
Approval ratings spiralled after friendly diplomatic relations with Shireroth took a slight detour leading to Floria losing some its power in the Apollonia Command. The use of chemical weapons in Ostland would also lead to an impeachment trial, becoming the first president to receive such a trial. As Chopin gradually became an unpopular figure even in her hometown of Dragonmoor, it would be in her hometown where she meet her demise after a paramilitary later to be identified as Shadow Group ambushed her convoy before a UPR Party meeting.

Political positions
Chopin was considered a far right National Republican. Throughout her political career she expressed support for National Humanist ideologies and unlike UPR politicians before her she was more aligned to the Imperial Democratic Party of Floria before their merger into the party.
Chopin did not support same sex marriage and as such removed those rights to Florian citizens in 1723 AN. However after international pressure especially from allied nations such as Natopia the right for same sex marriage was reinstated. Transgender rights were also suppressed and Chopin made it illegal for Florians to identify as the other gender or 'non-binary'.
