Chris Weiss

Christopher Weiss (died 1732), better known as Chris Weiss, was a Florian politician for the United Party of the Republic (UPR) and the Democratic Conservative Party. Vice president of Floria (1719–1725). Elected to the vice presidency in 1719 as the running mate of Isabelle Chopin. When President Chopin was assassinated, he became acting president. He announced he had no desire to be permanent president. He did thus not participate in the 1725 presidential elections, which saw Michael Hutchinson elected president.
He founded the Democratic Conservative Party in 1725 and became its leader. He led the Raspur Pact-sceptic movement in the Florian Referendum on Raspur Pact Membership in 1727.
He died in 1732 under mysterious circumstances, his Democratic Conservative Party collapsing shortly thereafter.
