Operation Quetzal
Operation Quetzal is a sudden field exercise of the Raspur Pact in 1704 AN, whose objectives were to test the mobilization, rapid deployment, communications, coordination, and logistics of the Apollonia Command, Keltia Command, and Trans-Euran Command, in light of the Arboric Civil War and Barikalus sanctions.
Notices to Mariners and Airmen were issued in all public and government media of the Raspur Pact 72 hours prior to the start of the exercises.
Operational Concept
Operation-Plan Cold Wedding: Defense and reinforcement of Quesque from sudden red-force airborne and amphibious assault
Operation-Plan Splicebrace: Defense and reinforcement of Palmas from sudden red-force maritime blockade and interdiction
Operation-Plan Southern Cup: Maintenance of sea lines of communication to Jaris and Mitrovska in Apollonian Hurmu.
Diversion of forces
Elements assigned to Cold Wedding were subsequently diverted to the Lake District of Hurmu following a major terrorist attack by suspected enemy forces on 2.VIII.1704 AN. These detachments would be reinforced by the Constancian Contingent Command within the Allied Mission in Eastern Apollonia, Hurmu & Lyrica under the command of Taxiarchos Periklês Metaxas.
