Dress, uniforms, and customs
When at court the officers of the Imperial General Staff and the Imperial Guard wear a gold-embroidered white fakeolion turban, a purple silk kabbadion embroidered in gold with the motif of the dual-headed Constancian eagle and the royal monograms worn over cream cavalry breeches and black leather riding boots, while the other ranks were issued with a green tunic known as the aurgarion worn over khaki trousers and brown leather jackboots. In the field all wear khaki cargo pants, a grey tunic, and a khaki jacket with purple trim for officers and green trim for other ranks.
Officers above the rank of major are expected to maintain their own private household retinues that are capable of assisting in the performance of military duties as required. These additional personnel, typically comprising of attendants, eunuchs, priests, physicians, and servants, are listed as supernumeraries when in the field with their employer.
