Siw Stai is the ambassador of Hurmu to Sankt Ludwigshafen (since 1719). Having been in a long-time relationship with Stina Einhorn since 1669, she and Stina moved to Hurmu in 1693 to get married (as same-sex marriage is not accepted in Normark). Despite this, the couple stayed close with Normark, returning regularly. Siw Stai was elected to the Nordisketing in 1703 for the Einhorn Society, but did not stand for re-election in 1707, standing instead for election for the Senate of the Lakes the same year for the Einhornist List. She was not elected, as she was listed number 17 out of 18, and the Einhornist List secured 1 seat.
