Organised from the Grand Army of Ransenar in 1713 AN, the Ransenari Grouping of Forces has responsibility for the territorial defence of the seventh military districts, corresponding to the civil counties, of the realm of Ransenar within the Benacian Union. These military districts are:
The Ransenari Grouping of Forces contributes to the 24th Army in the Eastern Banner Group of Benacia Command (east bank Ransenar) and the 25th Army of the Southern Banner Group similarly, which covers the military districts of Monty Crisco and East Caverden.
Administratively the Ransenari Grouping of Forces is a service branch of the Benacian Union Defence Force and is accordingly subject to the Commission for War and the High Presidium of the Benacian Union.
The Ransenari Grouping of Forces remains an all volunteer force, subject to the same generous pay and conditions to which the remainder of the BUDF is entitled.
Formed of 160 regiments, the Ransenari Grouping of Forces specialised in providing light infantry, scout cavalry, riverine infantry, and coastal artillery, alongside combat support services units. The engineering arm of the Ransenari Grouping of Forces was especially notable.
Owing to the cultural, economic , and political ties established before and during the Kalirion Fracture, Ransenari regiments are considered especially suitable for deployment alongside allied units from Community of Goldfield members, especially Natopia and Nouvelle Alexandrie, for expeditionary missions.
