Pan-Jingdaoism

Pan-Jingdaoism is a pan-nationalist political idea. The belief is that not only the people who live in the borders of Jingdao are truly Jingdaoese, but also the people of Alrig, Walstadt, several regions in Cibola, Batavia and South Island. In all these regions there are people who identify as either Jingdaoese, Jingbuist or Siseranist. Batavia and Natopia are known to oppose Pan-Jingdaoism. It played an important role in the politics of Alrig, until the nation's government was overthrown and integrated as an autonomous region within the Empire. Regardless of the position of the state in which the Pan-Jingdaoese groups reside, the Jingdaoese state provides support to these groups.

While some Pan-Jingdaoese groups only wish to maintain their Jingdaoese cultural identity, others prepare to overthrow their "secular" governments which are not led by the Heavenly Light and are linked to terrorism. Not all groups are comprised of ethnic Jingdaoese people, converts are welcomed as well, usually after screening by the Tegong.
