The Çakaristan national football team is the football team which currently represents the micronation of Çakaristan, and previously represented the Great Apollonian constituent nation of the same name. It is a member of the AEFA, and is run by the ÇFF. The team is the official successor of Sylvania, and as such retains its records.
History
The team was founded in late 2020 after the foundation of Çakaristan as the successor state to Sylvania. They first competed in the 2021 FMF World Cup qualification rounds, finishing fourth in their five-team group with five points. Later in the year, Çakaristan joined with Jingdao to form Great Apollonia, with each constituent nation retaining its separate FMF membership.
In early 2022, prior to the start of the year's Copa Apollonia qualifiers, Çakaristan regained its independence. In the qualifiers themselves, the team finished third in their four-team group with seven points.
The 2023 FMF World Cup qualification rounds saw the team finish fourth in their six-team group with ten points.
The team competed in the Copa Apollonia qualifiers the following year, where they placed third in their five-team group with 13 points, one point behind Oportia in a play-off spot.
