The Storm was a boy band or group of musicians and rock singers in the -20BPs and -10BPs. The band delivers rock genre songs in Phineaner and Taesongean. The Storm comes from the Territory of Kota Hilir. The band is a band that combines teenagers from Kota Hilir, Negara Awan, Maritime Kachi Kochi and Tri-State Area, it has started appearing in the Phinbellan music industry around the end of -13BP. One of the most important members in The Storm is Perseus Flynn, a guitarist, group leader, songwriter and lyricist, he is the father of a vocalist of PFT and Peti Ais, and he was once President of the Provisional Government of Phinbella. Another of the most important is Raphael Benafe, a lead vocalist who is the youngest member in The Storm.
The Storm was also offered a contract with Huge-O-Records such as Linda Flynn-Fletcher, but the contract was rejected along with Linda because it was unlikely to be popular with the Danville-based record company, finally The Storm with Linda who is the solo artist signed a contract with Pustaka Muzik Karyawan Bandaraya (PMKB) which is also based in Danville.
Background
Although The Storm appeared in the Phinbellan music industry in -13BP, the early history of The Storm, which originated in Kota Hilir, began in -16BP, when the early members were teenagers and studied at Kota Hilir High School or Kota Hilir School, and lined up by very different members at the time. The Storm was initially made up of an unknown vocalist, along with Perseus as guitarist, Suffian as drummer and Hadif as bassist. Her first vocalist eventually joined Sushi Sedap Band, and her new vocalist, Yuuki Yamagata was brought in to replace her. Along with Yuuki, The Storm regularly participates in singing competitions organized by schools throughout the Central Hilio Precinct including the city of Kota Hilir. The Storm also participated in a competition for The Next Super Phineonesian Idol Star, where the competition was also joined by Linda Flynn-Fletcher as a participant, and the competition was held in Kota Hilir in -14BP.
Their success in winning first place in The Next Super Phineonesian Idol Star competition, while Linda took second place, turned out to be fruitful when The Storm and Linda were proposed by a Danville-based record company, Huge-O-Records, but during a meeting with the company recording in Danville, after a long journey from Kota Hilir via flight, finally The Storm and Linda turned down his offer to make the next song, the contract was vehemently opposed by them as it considered the song sung by The Storm and Linda to be the copyright of the company. The songs of The Storm and Linda became the soundtrack in an elevator in the building. Soon after, after they performed in Danville, The Storm was finally offered by a recording company known as Pustaka Muzik Karyawan Bandaraya (PMKB) which is also based in Danville. The Storm and Linda agreed to accept the contract offer, however Linda's songs were created entirely by Perseus, the leader of The Storm, it was because Linda wanted her songs to be created entirely by Perseus and did not want her songs to be created by others. Pustaka Muzik Karyawan Bandaraya was a well-known recording company at the time. But due to different commitments and directions, Perseus is once again looking for new members to replace Suffian and Hadif, as well as to fulfill the recording contract, namely by inviting Itachi Hamada from San Furansōkyō, to take on the role of bassist, and Rahman or known as Man from Danville, took on the role of drummer. But the absence of The Storm's permanent vocalist has temporarily hampered the band's dream of producing an album. It was during this time that they met a teenager from Negara Awan named Raphael Benafe who happened to be singing a song titled Untukmu Eomma by Ju-seon & The Green. Raphael Benafe is a teenager of Phineaner and Arboric descent, with the uniqueness that Raphael possesses, so quickly The Storm accepted Raphael as their new vocalist with permission from his parents and started their first album recording session at Studio Farquhar, Danville.
However, because Raphael was still in school at the time, the recording session had to be postponed for a while and conducted during the school holidays in the winter. After a struggle for several months, The Storm's first album was born using the band's own name in -12BP. With the image of teenagers introduced and featured by The Storm, The Storm managed to position themselves as a competitor to Ju-seon & The Green which was already known to many at the time. Danial Yakuub a.k.a. Danny Jacob acted as the producer for the album with PMKB. The album whose songs were mostly created by members of The Storm themselves, especially Perseus with his hit song Lee Hong-gi (Angel), has managed to sell 250,000 units and his songs were included in the top charts on radio, making The Storm known throughout Phinbella and also Forajasaki. Perseus as the lead guitarist in The Storm, has been given the nickname "The Voice". Since its inception, all of its performances and music videos have been aired on KBS-TV through the musical program, Selekta Pop.
Prior to the release of his second album, Suffian or as he was called, Pian had rejoined The Storm after Rahman withdrew from the band. In -11BP, The Storm with the old drummer, Pian came up with his new album called Duo Motivation, it managed to sell 400,000 units. The most interesting in this album, Perseus and Pian created a song where this song is the most hit song from the album. After his challenging success, The Storm's struggle came to a halt or take a break from the music industry in -10BP, and Perseus' musical career also came to an end when he married Linda who had accompanied him in The Storm's struggle, while the other members lead their respective directions.
