The 1753 MTO secretary-general election began upon the resignation of incumbent secretary-general of the Micras Treaty Organization, Ian Holden, on 15.III.1753.

The Lanzerwald Republic nominated Mondo Rechter-Katzenfreund to succeed Holden. Floria nominated Michael Hutchinson. Nouvelle Alexandrie nominated Túpac Mendoza, following which Rechter-Katzenfreund withdrew. The Constancian delegation intended to nominate its own candidate, but reconsidered and decided to throw its support to the nominee of the Federation of Nouvelle Alexandrie.
