Project 1700 is a classified development project initiated in 1680 by Talenore aircraft producer Mistra. The only known information is that the project is headed by Mistra, now a Brightworks Mistra after a merger with the Sanaman company, and connected to a consortium initially consisting of Sanama, the Unified Governorates and Elwynn. Due to it being spearheaded by Brightworks Mistra, the producer and designer of several fighter jets, one theory is that the project is developing a sixth generation stealth fighter.

Consortium

The project includes several companies, joined together in the Project 1700 Design Consortium.

The overall guidance of the project is provided by the Client Consortium.

Sensors and avionics

X-17 will be the first Raspur Pact multirole stealth fighter featuring an optional crew. The X-17 can both be piloted by a human pilot, an AI system, and remotely from a ground-based station. The aircraft will feature a fully wikipedia:Glass cockpit without a physical HUD, instead opting for a helmet-mounted display system designed by Simines. This allows the pilot to move their head freely while still receiving relevant spatial information. To enhance pilot situational awareness, the X-17 is equipped with the Simines Advanced Theatre Awareness System (ATAS), integrating information from the active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar, strategic ground-based surveillance radar, tactical unit radar, as well as information received from other aircraft and drones. An innovation in the X-17 is the Drone Operation, Control, Tasking and Reconnaissance System (DOCTRS), allowing the pilot and aircraft system to control, retask, and communicate with a swarm of both armed and unarmed reconnaissance drones. The Electronic Warfare System (EWS) allows for the detection and jamming of hostile radar. Sensors embedded in the fuselage relay information to the flight control system about missile launches and radar tracking.
