Eduard Antonius Reichhart Ludwig Battenberg von Schneedünen, a member of the mighty Walstädter Battenberg family, is a former diplomat. He was consul-general of Hurmu in Walstadt (1719–1730). He was removed from the position of consul-general in 1730 upon the discovery that his family had fraudulently derived its ancestry (and thus membership in the Order of the Holy Lakes) from Vali Ri av Silmahamnum.
