Near the end of the Daau-Phinbella game where Daau scored an offside goal, manager Markus Nielsen went up with his staff to challenge the referee and the 4th official due to the goal being ruled offside. Markus and his assistant Hallur would then have a heated quarrel between them and the referee which involved the bench player Safuwan Baharudin. Controversy

Fernandinho then rushed to the sidelines where Markus was seen shouting Ali Anuwar with Safuwan calming him down, Hallur Olsen would go argue with the 4th official until a yellow card was shown as a warning to Markus.

Hallur Olsen would be sent off in the 89th minute as he kept annoying the 4th official and the officiating team.

A mini brawl happened in the tunnel as Hanekom was seen tackling Fernandinho to the ground as apparently Hanekom provoked Fernandinho causing a quarrel in the tunnel. The brawl calmed down as both sets of managers came in to calm things down and get everybody to respect one and other.

At the end of the day the goal was not given to Daau due to the referee's actions and Markus' reactions.
