The mass wedding at Teldrin in the eighth month of 1733 AN was undertaken by the N&H Future Leadership Programme with the support of the House of Osman, the Honourable Company, and the United Ecclesiastical Corporation of Benacia. The purpose of the mass wedding was to reinvigorate certain key lineages whilst also rewarding loyal service by a number of retiring legates of the Benacian Union Defence Force by inducting them through marriages into lineages that would render them eligible for election onto the Senate of the Lakes in Hurmu.
