Menkara Iňanojk, formerly known as Işæk Iňanojk until 2015, is a Birgesh-born Çakaristani footballer who currently plays for Hänävissen-ó-Cräiteland FC in Craitland. Primarily used as a left-back, Iňanojk is also capable of playing at right-back and as a wing-back.
Career
Club
Iňanojk began his professional career with B-Lig side Otaq Röyal FK in 2012 ahead of the league's first season, where he established himself as the team's starting left-back as they finished in second. In the following season Iňanojk helped the team to its first silverware as they won the league Grand Final. The defender's performances attracted interest from CrFA League 1 club Hänävissen-ó-Cräiteland FC in the summer of 2013, and a Cr 5.5 million deal was agreed for his transfer in the June.
Seen as the perfect replacement for the retiring Freddie Zóma-ó-Täó, Iňanojk was handed the HóC number 3 jersey and was a regular starter in his first campaign, though the team struggled competitively. After the club finished bottom of the table for the first time in its history in 2015, the 2016 season was more successful as the team won its third ever trophy in the King's Cup final, where Iňanojk helped keep a clean sheet.
As cup holders, the team qualified for the following year's WMFA Cup, with Iňanojk an important part of a side that reached the semi-finals and also the final of the 2017 Cities' Cup, finishing with a runners-up medal. However, Iňanojk and HóC saw a drop in form in 2018, with three early cup competition exits and a ninth place league finish, but improvements in the subsequent 2019 and 2020 seasons saw the defender a first-choice in sides that placed fifth and sixth, respectively.
International
Following good domestic form, Iňanojk was selected for the Birgesh national team in 2012 and made his début in its first friendly match, where he scored the equalising goal in a 3–3 draw with New Vaduz. As the team's primary left-back, Iňanojk featured greatly in the annual competitive campaigns, helping Birgeshir reach its first World Cup finals at the second attempt, where they were ultimately eliminated in the quarter-finals.
After being part of a disappointing 2015 World Cup showing, where the team finished bottom of their finals group, Iňanojk was a mainstay in a Birgesh defence that took the team to 2016 CiboTap Championships glory, keeping clean sheets in four of its five matches including against regular finalists Alexandria and Zandarijn in the knock-out stages. After helping Birgeshir advance from its 2017 qualifying group having only conceded twice, Iňanojk scored in the team's opening finals match as they reached the knock-out stages before losing in the quarter-finals again.
Iňanojk was included in Birgeshir's 2018 FMF Confederations Cup campaign, where the team overcame heavyweight opposition in Mercury and Senya to win the competition, with Iňanojk scoring the decisive penalty in the semi-final shootout against the former. Iňanojk's international success continued into the year's CiboTap as Birgeshir won back-to-back titles with the distinction of conceding zero goals throughout. However, Iňanojk fell out of favour in 2019, and was not included in any further Birgesh finals squads.
Birgeshir left Micras in 2020 and Iňanojk, alongside a number of compatriots, became eligible to represent Hazar and received a first call-up for his second national team ahead of the 2021 FMF World Cup qualification tournament.
