The Volunteer Grenadier Brigade Nordstorm is a planned Mondosphere-Hurmu combat formation, currently being raised at Ny-Zanzibar for operations within Keltian Hurmu in support of the Senate of the Lakes during the 1719–1720 Hurmu civil conflict. The brigade’s personnel were originally intended to be a mixture of pro-Senate recruits from Samhold and Karnamark supplemented by volunteers from various Mondosphere countries, principally Etzeland and Riskai; however two regiments from the Army of Karnamark were seconded to the formation following that army's defection on 6-7.I.1720 AN.
