| Vriendschapsverdrag tussen de Republiek Mercury en de Islamitische Republiek Nieuw-Batavië
De President van de Republiek Mercury, De President van de Islamitische Republiek Nieuw-Batavië, De lange geschiedenis van informele contacten en vriendschap tussen hun respectievelijke regeringen erkennend, toegewijd aan internationale vrijheid en soevereiniteit, vastbesloten om vriendschaps- en samenwerkingsrelaties aan te gaan, zijn het eens geworden over de volgende principes die in dit VERDRAG zijn vastgelegd: Artikel 1: De Republiek Mercury en de Islamitische Republiek Nieuw-Batavië erkennen elkaars soevereiniteit and het recht op zelfbestuur van hun staat, hun volkeren en van hun overheidsinstellingen. Artikel 2: De hoge verdragsluitende partijen erkennen elkaar als de rechtmatige eigenaar van al het grondgebied dat zij opvorderen op de kaart van de MCS en met toestemming van de Raad van de MCS. Artikel 3: De hoge verdragsluitende partijen verbinden zich ertoe om alle onderlinge geschillen vredevol op te lossen, gebruik makend van een door hun beide aangeduide derde neutrale partij, indien dit langs normale kanalen onmogelijk blijkt. Artikel 4: De hoge verdragsluitende partijen blijven open en toegankelijk voor elkaars bezoekers, met uitzondering van nationale noodsituaties and situaties met betrekking tot de veiligheid. Het zal voor de burgers van de staten toegelaten zijn om 90 dagen te reizen zonder visum. Het verkrijgen van een visum voor langere periodes mag niet onnodig worden bemoeilijkt. Artikel 5: De hoge verdragsluitende partijen zullen formele communicatiekanalen open houden ten einde dialoog en samenwerking in de toekomst mogelijk te maken. Artikel 6: De hoge verdragsluitende partijen zullen geen open of geheime militaire operaties tegen elkaars volkeren of overheidsinstellingen houden noch ondersteunen. Artikel 7: Dit verdrag kan enkel worden geamendeerd na het akkoord van beide hoge verdragsluitende partijen. Elke tegengestelde actie is nietig. Artikel 8: Dit verdrag zal in werking treden na de ratificatie ervan door beide hoge verdragsluitende partijen in overeenstemming met hun nationale grondwettelijke procedures. Artikel 9: De hoge verdragsluitende partijen kunnen dit vedrag opzeggen op voorwaarde van een vooropzeg van twee Gregoriaanse weken. Treaty of friendship between the Republic of Mercury and the Islamic Republic of New Batavia
The President of the Republic of Mercury, The President of the Islamic Republic of New Batavia, Acknowledging their respective governments' long history of informal contact and amity, committed to international freedom and sovereignty, resolve to establish formal relations of friendship and cooperation, have come to agree upon the following principles established in this TREATY: Article 1. The Republic of Mercury and the Islamic Republic of New Batavia recognize the other's sovereignty and right to self-rule of its state, its peoples, and its government institutions. Article 2. The high contracting parties recognize one another as the rightful owner of all territory that they claim on the MCS map with the consent of the Council of the MCS. Article 3. The high contracting parties commit to resolve all mutual disputes peacefully, using a neutral third party agreed to by both should this prove impossible by normal channels. Article 4. The high contracting parties shall remain open and accessible to visitors from one another, barring national emergencies or other such security issues. Citizens of the states shall be allowed to travel 90 days free of visa. No unnecessary burden may be placed on the obtaining of visas for longer periods of time. Article 5. The high contracting parties shall have proper and open channels of communication so to facilitate dialogue and future cooperation. Article 6. The high contracting parties shall not engage in or sponsor any covert or overt military activity against the peoples or government institutions of the other. Article 7. This treaty may only be amended upon the concurrence of both high contracting parties. Any contrary action or measure shall be null and void. Article 8. This treaty shall enter into force upon ratification of both high contracting parties in accordance with their native constitutional procedures. Article 9. The high contracting parties may repeal this treaty on the condition of a notice of two Gregorian weeks.
