Taj ibn Marwan Al-Qadiri, Sheikh of Dar Mazian, was personal secretary of Sultan Saif Ad-Din I until his retirement in 1737 AN. In 1738 AN he was created Sheikh of Dar Mazian as a token of appreciation.
Marriage and issue
In 1698 AN he married scientist Zipporah bint Ahmed Liefoghen. They had several children:
- Meryem bint Taj Al-Qadiri (♀, 1702 AN)
- Muhammed ibn Taj Al-Qadiri (♂, 1704 AN)
- Hussain ibn Taj Al-Qadiri (♂, 1707 AN)
