On November 26, RP 2619, a cruise ship sanked that occurred 9.4 kilometers southwest of Clavering Island, an island located approximately 40 kilometers from the capital of Phinbella, Negara Awan, this island is administered by the Federal Special Capital Territory. A cruise ship en route from Barack Island, Pokok Emas Islands, Forajasaki to Sendai, Ssamaritan Islands, Oriental Hispanioéire Taemhwan, also carrying a cargo weighing 4,539 tons, sent a distress signal from the scene at 07:14 NAT (03:14 CMT). Of the 548 passengers and crew who boarded the cruise ship, a total of 268 people are said to have died due to suffocation in the disaster, 147 people have been found dead and 121 people have yet to be found. Of the 280 survivors, 157 were rescued by a vessel of Phinbellan Navy based on the island and the rest were rescued by the Phinbellan Coast Guard (PhCG) ten minutes later. The search for victims who have not yet been found was carried out by both parties.

Entering the second day on November 27, the Search and Rescue Team (SAR) continued to search for the missing victims. The operation started around 7:30 a.m., as many as 120 ships, twenty nine aircraft and ten divers belonging to the Phinbellan Navy arrived at the scene to carry out this operation. The Phinbellan Coast Guard deployed thirty-five divers in two teams. The Phinbellan Navy also deployed eight divers, undeterred by the coastguard. In the morning of the second day of the incident, the number of divers involved in the operation reached 428 people. On the second day, a total of twenty-three bodies were found, first a total of 16 bodies of victims whose citizenship status is unknown were successfully found at around 1:45 p.m. in the afternoon, and then at 2:48 p.m. in the afternoon, a total of three bodies of victims of citizens Phinbellan and the four bodies of Forajasakian victims were found. At 4:00 p.m., a body of an Irianlander citizen was found. The search and rescue operation had to be stopped at around 6:00 pm due to the snowfall which caused bad weather conditions plus it was in the dark of the night at that time, indicating that it was almost time for the Isyak prayer. At 9:15 p.m., a marine crane arrived at the scene. The operation is expected to resume the next day.

In Hurmu, Commander of the Order of the Holy Lakes, Ichirō, and Minister for the Realms Flora Jovanović-Smičić flew to Inderakonur in Oystra Stoorskerið to give their respects to the surviving victims and the family of the victims of the sinking resident in Oystra Stoorskerið. After meetings with the Resident for Oystra Stoorskerið, Severna Enujohanenion, and the Chair of the Council of Shared Sovereignty, Arild Nordrum, Ichirō and Minister Jovanović-Smičić promised the full support of the Order of the Holy Lakes in efforts to help the survivors and the families of the victims deal with the aftermath of the sinking. Moreover, an accidents commission would be appointed from the Hurmu side to investigate the cause for the sinking, and make recommendations for changes within the shipping sector of the Hurmu Customs Area, to which the entirety of the Confederation of the Phineonesian Nations belongs.
Flags throughout Oystra Stoorskerið were on half-mast until after the funerals of the recovered bodies.
