Safiye Çelebi (4.XI.1723 AN, aged 28), Mathura) is Princess of Akhidia through her marriage to Ytro, the crown prince of Akhidia. She is the daughter of Dervish Çelebi and Astīr bint Alsalam.
Early life
Safiye was born in Mathura, the then capital of Jaihabar, the princely state of Çakaristan on the continent of Corum. She is the second child of Dervish and Astir, but the first daughter and the first child born in Jaihabar. Her father had become Sultan of Jaihabar a year before her birth. In 1737 AN, her father died, and her older brother ascended the throne. Because her older brother, Süleyman Çelebi, was hostile to their mother, she fled with her mother and her two younger brothers. They found refuge in Kurum ash-Sharqia, where they remained until after the Jaihabar Vortex. Back in Çakaristan, she moved to Uttarkhet with her mother and two younger brothers. When she turned eighteen, she began studying at the University of Šer-Ku-Riž.
Marriage
During a visit to Corum Electric Port, she met Ytro. Her Corum heritage gave Ytro an opportunity to court her. The couple married in 1746 AN.
