The New Territories (Phineaner: Wilayah Baru; Taesongean: 신계; Hanja: 新界; RR: Shin-gye; MR: Sin-gye) or known as the Collectivity and District of the New Territories (Phineaner: Jajahan dan Daerah Wilayah Baru/New Territories) is one of the three main geographic regions of the Federal Special Capital Territory, alongside Negara Awan and the Clavering Islands. Together with the Rimba Raya Autonomous Sub-district, it forms more than 80~85 percent of the area of the Federal Special Capital Territory itself, it has an area of 619,841 square kilometers, and it has a population of 4,233,493 people which is at least 2/3 of the population of the Federal Special Capital Territory. The New Territories area consists of the New Territories Peninsula, Ujong Island and Highland Bank as well as some remote islands, Saebin-seom and the Telipot (Bluie) Islands.
The area borders the Orange Free State through the Crocker-Supriadi Range and the Tretgenchah River. This area was formed through the New Territories Expansion Agreement in RP 2612 which took part of the southeast coast of the Orange Free State, except for an enclave that was fully administered by the territory.
This geographical region is governed by two local governments, namely a district council and a city hall, the New Territories District Council (Phineaner: Majlis Daerah New Territories) which governs most of the New Territories and also the City Hall of the City of the Kingdom of Clouds (Phineaner: Dewan Bandaraya Negara Awan) which governs several communes that are part of the Negara Awan metropolitan area. The main cities in this collectivity are Batang Padang, Pos Jor, Pos Fistclench, Pos Friedrichsthal, Tringkap, Kuala Terla, Bukit Tinggi and Bidor.
The New Territories also borders two enclaves where these two enclaves are respectively administered by the Orange Free State and the Taemhwanian district of Héi'an.
