LanzerwaldSpoor is an Aemilian rolling stock, railway track and railroad signal manufacturer. The company started out as a state-owned company that was envisioned to maintain the railroad network of the Lanzerwald Republic and operate cargo and passenger connections on that railroad network. The company was established in XIV.1713 AN to replace the Ludwigshafener Eisenbahnbewirtschaftungsbetrieb. During the Lanzerwald and Restored Sankt Ludwigshafen period it only operated shunting services in the port of Oudorp, which ended up in the United Principalities of Cibola following the demise of the Republic of Sankt Ludwigshafen. The company was tasked by Princess Emilia Antoinette in 1724 to build out the railway system in the Confoederatio Aemilia, starting with the Coast Tram from Stadt Sankt Rosa to Port Carillo in Natopia. After that, the confoederatio kept consistently investing in its tram and railcar connections and LanzerwaldSpoor kept being responsible for the execution of these plans. Because of the high level of investment in rail transport in the Confoederatio Aemilia, and the level of quality that is demanded, LanzerwaldSpoor has earned an impeccable reputation, internationally.
In II.1742, as part of the Integration of the United Principalities into the Aemilian Federation, following the Aemilian intervention in the United Principalities, LanzerwaldSpoor's passenger and cargo operations were split off from the company and added into the newly created Aemilianische Bundesbahnen. The company kept making rolling stock, railway tracks and railroad signals. Through the annexation of the United Principalities of Cibola by the Aemilian Federation, the company had a domestic rival in the Weisenburger Maschinefabrik for the first time in its history.
