During the reign of Mors VI "the Brave", there occurred the great "Reclaimation", in which the old land-based system of the Duchies was undone after countless ages, and power was passed to the new Houses Major and Minor. For this, he remembered with the epithet "the Brave". While base jumping from the highest point in Shirekeep, his parachute failed to deploy, he impacted upon a barge loaded with fireworks, which then exploded. His death is therefore remembered both as tragic and spectacular, and a score to beat in the world of Kaiserial fatalities.
His death caused confusion in succession as the designated heir refused the kaisership. Daniel Kalirion remained in government until Kaiseress Anandja II received the nobles' acclamation as kaiseress.
