Imperial Yardistani Cruises

Imperial Yardistani Cruises is a cruise line brand founded in 1710 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Apollonian Shipping Company. Based in Novi Nigrad in Yardistan, Shireroth, it is one of the largest cruise lines by revenue on Micras. As of 1735, the line operates forty ships and has six ships on order.

The company was founded in 1710, a few years after the reunification of Kildare and Shireroth. The Apollonian Shipping Company, which was based in Sint Anna, then part of the Protectorate of Alrig, wanted to profit from the increased possibility of travel between the Benacian and Apollonian parts of the newly-formed empire. Business grew fast and the company was able to profit from the ability of the ASC to buy large ships in bulk, because of the high number of large container ships it ordered regularly from major ship wharfs, such as the Sisera Wharf located on Lake Lamantia.

On 12.XIII.1735, one of the ships of Imperial Yardistani Cruises, the M/V Biternion, named after the God of Improbability sunk unexpectedly following a sudden impact on its starboard side. The incident was seen as a major blemish on an otherwise perfect safety record.
