Hrithik's rebellion is a rebellion against the Shahanshah of Çakaristan. Initially against Jaaguzan, later against his son and successor, Xunpadshahan. Hrithik Çakar claims his father's rightful successor in place of Jaaguzan.
Background
After Akbar's assassination, the crown was transferred to Jaaguzan. This to the displeasure of a minority, who insisted on succession by customary law. And thus that Hrithik should succeed his father. A group armed itself and rebelled to pursue this. Because of the entanglement in the armed forces, there was intelligence about Hrithik's military training. This led to the downing of the fighter jet flown by Hrithik. Hrithik was made convinced of his case and joined the rebellion. For a long time, it was unknown whether Hrithik had survived the downing of his jet. It was only in 1720 AN that it became unofficially known that Hrithik was alive and later that he was in open rebellion against the Shahanshah.
The main advisor and army chief to Hrithik is Bayram Qoyunlu. He previously served as Muqaddam in the Çakari Navy, but defected to the rebellion after the Leng Incident. He is now serving as Müşir Yeŋiçeri.
Course
Start
There are strong suspicions that Hrithik was behind the missile firing near Cenfae Mahal. Worryingly, the palace defences did not respond to the shelling, as someone from the security guard had disabled security. Hrithik is suspected for ordering various events in 1727:
- The assassination of Adarsh Farrah, Ataliq (regent);
- The firing of the Shahanshah's plane, Air Çakar One, over the Monalan Parvat (Monlan Mountains); and
- The rocket firing of the Red Fortress.
It is also thought that Hrithik was the patron for the assassination of Jaaguzan. But that seems unlikely. Herkül Armut's investigation shows no involvement.
Zahra's fury
Immediately after the firing, Zahra launched an attack. This attack was so fierce that newspapers spoke of "Zahra's fury" and Hrithik and his entourage had to flee back into the mountains. As a result of this attack, Agra regained control of the lowlands of western Tartaristan. The mountainous region remained vulnerable to rebel attacks. Agra had made arrangements with Shirekeep to reach western Tartaristan via Kildare.
Break
There was a pause in the fighting, when initially secret talks were held between Hrithik and Aurangzeb. Also to dampen rising tensions between the House of Alsalam and the House of Çakar. In Haritdesh, Poorajangal and Korhalistan in particular, protests grew against the crackdown on rebellion. As a result, only defensive action was taken against the rebels. Attacks were also stopped on the rebel side.
End
When it seemed that the rebellion would become an unending conflict, the protagonists met in secret. Peace was made in the ruins of Apolloniae Genevae. Punishment was waived and a period of reconciliation began.
