Hassan bin Khelaba (known commonly as Hassan) is a Dauian professional footballer who plays as a left winger and is currently a free agent. Known as the first Dauian football player to ever score in an AEFA Champions' League fixture and the first to score a brace in the same game, he is also the youngest Dauian to step foot in a AEFA Champions' League fixture at the age of 16.

Club career

Hassan started his youth career at DNTP Seragaan under 12's and moved up the ranks till the age of 14 where he moved to Daau United U16 for the 2019-20 Daau Youth League season.

Jurong Football Club

Hassan was given the green light to join Jurong FC on loan to their youth teams to hopefully gain more exposure and also have a better chance at breaking into the senior squad. He would mainly train with the under-19s squad and also play with the under-17s in the Daau Youth League for his first season with the Rangers, he was mainly satisfied with the way the club played and agreed to stay for another season before returning to Daau United.

Daau United

After completing his loan at Jurong Football Club, Hassan returned to Daau United for the 2022-23 season which saw him play a rotational role in the squad beside winger Han Wenshu. Hassan broke records for the first Dauian to score a brace and the first to score in an AEFA Champions' League fixture and also becoming the youngest Dauian to do so at the age of 16. He scored his first league goal for the oranges against Aeland Krasno Natives (Daau) to secure a 4-0 victory away from home.

Hassan would continue his rotational role for the club and managed 13 appearances for the club and scoring 5 goals in all competitions. His contract was not extended by Daau United at the end of the season as the club set him for release.

International career

Hassan was called up for the Daau National Team's training sessions in July 25th 2022. He was also called up for the 2022 Daau Opening Tri-Nations Series where he made his debut against Krasnovlac in a 1-1 draw, becoming Daau's youngest debutant and player to play in a Dauian shirt at 16 years and 134 days old.

Style of play

A dazzling young winger, Hassan is known for his skills and tricks down the left hand side, often leaving defenders trailing and "sitting" them down due to him being too quick to catch or defend. He is also highly regarded for his pace and close ball control when dribbling at speed, as well as his movement, tactical intelligence, and ability to beat the defensive line by making attacking runs into space both on and off the ball. Hassan is often compared to fellow winger Abdulrahman as they both came from Matabese backgrounds and both are superb at beating their man, Hassan is also nicknamed the next Abdulrahman due to this. Hassan has been praisd by Isaac Zainol for his ability to make the ball stick to his feet whilst cutting inside the opponent's area.

Personal life

Hassan has a younger brother, Ahmed Khelaba who plays for Nokia Academy.
