Daau United Football Club or commonly known as Daau United is a professional football team based in Catang. The team are one of the most successful clubs in modern Dauian history, being the first to enter the AEFA Champions' League and enter the round of 16. The Oranges play their games in the Sujad Lane, Catang Center in Seragaan.

They have a reserve team which plays in the Daau Premier League while Daau United plays in the Daau Super League.

History

Founded by a group of Matabese friends with Hakim Norani being the main investor, Daau United would be officially registered as an amateur club in the 2000-01 Daau Amateur Division. The club would go through years of hard fought victories in order for them to be promoted to the then D-League, the country's then 3rd division.

As the club was promoted as a professional club, Hakim Norani would step up and become the club's director moving forward in the 2006-07 season and would be instantly promoted to the 2nd divison in the following season with the signings of Shahril Ishac and Ahbam Rahman in the season.

The club would slowly enter their own "golden age" as the club would successfully be promoted into the Daau Top League following an impressive 2007-08 season with 0 losses.

As the years went by, Daau United continued to flourish with the signings of David Magek in the 2011-12 season, Edu Frances in the 2018-19 season and now club captain Georgio Keller in the 2009-10 season as a 21 year old. The club would win a total of 7 Daau Top League titles with their own golden generation pre-rebranding. The club also signed then hotshot Clover bin Clover in the 2016-17 season, becoming the club's all time top scorer with 204 goals to his name till this date. Zack Ortega was also signed in the 2017-18 season, becoming Daau United's most prized goalkeeper since James Lai.

The club would enter the newly rebranded Daau Super League whilst retaining the squad of the former seasons with new signings. The oranges would win the first ever Daau Super League in the 2019-20 season but missing out on the 2020-21 season by 2 points off Bintang Lukana. The club however would bounce back and win the 2021-22 DSL title through clever management by interim manager Lee Laksa.

The Oranges would hire manager Bruno Yio at the start of the 2022-23 season, replacing interim Lee Laksa. The club would then qualify for the AEFA Champions' League with a 5-2 win on aggregate over SToA while becoming the first ever Dauian club to do so. During their AEFA Champions' League run, Daau United managed to draw 2 games and lost one against Raspur Militantites. Daau United then ran riot with the team finishing in the 2nd place in the group, above Sýndesmos Athlitikós Aqaba and Lorat Ultras. Although hit by an injury crisis, the club sadly lost 1-0 to Park Prinsipa FK in the away leg. Despite a good contiential showing, The team's league campaign was rather disappointing as they lost the league title to Daas City as they were never in contention for the title, the club's board promised to show more regional ambition in the future and will try again.
