Guillermo Trescrara is a Tellian former-footballer who last played for FC Murcia in North Antarctica. An out-and-out striker, Trescrara was regarded as one of the best players in his position during the early years of the FMF and garnered success in multiple nations' domestic competitions.

Club

Trescrara began his professional career relatively late at the age of 26 upon signing for Riponian Premiership side Port Rackham Rangers ahead of their first season, having failed to find a team to join in his homeland of Gaia. As part of an instantly successful striking partnership with Taesongean Seol Tae-Ki, Trescrara finished as top scorer in the league as PRR eased to the title. The club's, and Trescrara's, triumphs continued at a confederational level, with the first edition of the EMUFA Champions' League and subsequent EMUFA Super Cup being won in an unprecedented treble, with Trescrara starring in a 5–1 final victory over United Republic FC in the former. However, PRR's period of dominance came to an abrupt end with the demise of Riponia and its league in early 2008, and Trescrara was made a free agent after a short spell with Kavalos' New Luanda FC, where he scored in the Kavalosian Supercup final as the team won on penalties.

Trescrara signed for Craitish League 1 side Biulya äqi Jedu FC as a free agent in the autumn of 2008, ahead of the 2009 season, and became somewhat of a marquee player for a club which had previously struggled for success. Wearing number 25, Trescrara established a partnership with Iridian Lucas Zaya in his first season and the pair combined for 15 league goals—six from Trescrara—on the way to a third-placed finish, before he scored the winning goal in the cup final to seal the club's first ever trophy. Despite being less prolific in the following two seasons, Trescrara helped BäJ to a second successive third place in 2010 and another King's Cup final, which they lost, in 2011, where he scored in the semi-final. After three seasons in Biulya, now aged 32, Trescrara left the club on a free transfer to join Tae outfit Ersoy Pirates.

Trescrara's move to the Pirates in 2011 was a slight surprise to pundits, due to the club finishing in the bottom half of Hamland's Second Division Championship the season prior, and his spell at the club lasted just one year before he joined FC Murcia in North Antarctica the following summer. Trescrara moved for a fee of Cr 3 million and helped the club to 7th place in the league as he faced competition from a number of other players for a starting position. Although Trescrara originally planned to continue playing into 2014, football tournaments in North Antarctica that year were cancelled due to a national emergency, and the striker instead decided to call time on his career and retired at the age of 35.

International

Trescrara received his first Gaian call-up ahead of the 2007 FMF World Cup, following an impressive domestic season, and was included in the final tournament squad. Trescrara was entrusted to start all of the Gaians' matches in the tournament and his three goals, including a brace against co-hosts Novatainia and a late equaliser to take the quarter-final versus Riponia to extra time, were an important factor towards an eventual fourth-placed finish. After Gaia was succeeded by Tellia in late 2007, Trescrara maintained his place in the updated national setup for the ill-fated 2008 qualifiers, and was even awarded temporary captaincy of the side prior to their eventual withdrawal from competing after a controversial record defeat.

Trescrara played an important role in the subsequent two years' qualifiers, helping Tellia return to the World Cup after 2008's absence. However, he was unable to find the net in neither the 2009 finals, where the team reached the quarter-finals, nor in 2010, as the team could only finish bottom of their group. Although Trescrara was a less frequent starter the following year, due to the emergence of younger players such as Marko Zajc and Sezer Özker leading to formation changes, he was still included in the 2011 FMF World Cup squad and even found himself on the score sheet once more by hitting a last-minute winner against Nova England as the team topped their group unbeaten. Tellia were beaten by hosts Shireroth in the quarter-finals, however. Due to his increasing age and domestic career move to leagues deemed to be of a lower standard, Trescrara received no further international call-ups after 2011, although he never declared a separate international retirement and remained eligible up until he ended playing completely in 2014.
