The CAAT (Caradian Arms and Armour Trust) is a recently-founded company created by the Caradian Crown in order to provide superior equipment to the Caradian Armed Forces in case of armed conflict. The company is also charged with the research of new military technology for the Caradian Armed Forces.
In mid 1679, the CAAT was subsumed into the CNSC. This change created a new supply of raw materials that the CIC was obliged to provide the CAAT, creating a new environment for rapid military development.
