Amir Çakar

Amir Çakar (Arboric: اَمير) is Khan of Kendall Khanate, was appointed on 22.XI.1689 AN. He is married to Catherine Pellegrino and has two children with her: Dawud Edward and Anika Chloé.

In 1723 AN he was awarded the Grand Cordon of the Order of As-Saif at the wedding of his daughter Anika with the Crown Prince of Kurum Ash-Sharqia, Saif Ad-Din.

Early years

Amir was born on 12.III.1667 AN in Šer-Ku-Riž. He is the second son of Ümit Çakar and Hamida Banu. Because his father was one of the leaders of the rebellion against the Kingdom of Krasnocoria in the Hasani War (1680 - 1685 AN) he had to go into hiding.

He emerged as a skillful diplomat and strategist during the Sylvanian National Awakening (1687 - 1689 AN). He united the Cresent brothers to rebel against the failing Kingdom of Krasnocoria. According to Amir himself, his military successes are overshadowed by his stupidity in unnecessarily shelling the Krasnocorian fleet. Out of reach and it caused counterfire cost him a few soldiers.

Pilgrimage of Amir

At the end of the Sylvanian National Awakening, the sultanate comprised some territory on Kendall Isle. Amir was given a mission by the sultan to further explore the island and assimilate it to the sultanate. There Amir could establish a khanate over which he himself was allowed to rule. This khanate was given the name: Khanate of Jabal al-Mada', later called Kendall Khanate.

In 1692 AN, Amir received permission from the Sultan to be temporarily relieved of his mission. This allowed Amir to go on a pilgrimage to the land of the great Craitgod. During the pilgrimage, Amir experienced a culture shock because Craitland was secular and there was no belief in the great Craitgod, as there is in his homeland. He climbed Mount Horn, just as he had climbed the Jabal al-Mada'. He introduced Hänä cake to Çakaristan, a small pastry confection from Craitland.

Marriage

During his mission in Craitland, he met Catherine Pellegrino. They fell in love and married. The couple was blessed with two children:
