APL Arena is a football stadium in Kadim, Thracistan, and is the home of football in Altay Kadim.

History

The APL Arena is one of Micras' oldest buildings, dating back to antiquity. APL Arena, which has the distinction of being the first reinforced concrete building whose foundation was laid in 2000, was put into service in 2001 under the rule of Shireroth. At that time, there was no proper sports activity and it was used for gladiators. At that time, the stadium consisted of a single tribune. At that time it was a popular haunt for Tymarian rituals.

Technology was developing rapidly and the structure was getting old as it got older. At that time, the FMF was newly formed. The worn-out gladiator arena was reorganized in 2006 so that Shireroth would not fall behind in football. Another grandstand was built and a rudimentary scoreboard added, the ground was grassed for the first time, but three months later the lawn was completely gone.

In 2011 the World Cup was in Shireroth, but it was not chosen from the venues as the stadium is really far from the mainland. In 2012, cracks began to appear in the building and the first tribune could no longer stand. The Shireroth government at that time did not care much about the event, and the city was not too keen on demolishing it due to its historical structure. In the fall of 2012, the grandstand suddenly collapsed at midnight, killing eight people. The administration rebuilt the tribune in about a month and a half and built an administrative building next to the stadium.

In 2014, the stadium was fully seated, but the seat spacing was always narrow. During a friendly match in mid-2014, an accident occurred in the stands and two hundred people lost their lives. The stadium was able to fill half capacity until 2016.

There was internal turmoil in those years under Shireroth and the administration passed to Jexit. In 2016, the seats were replaced by Jexit authorities and the distance problem was solved. Ten clubs of the amateur stratum of the Jexit league played in this stadium, the grass was completely destroyed in those years and artificial turf was planted in its place.

In 2017, there was another accident at the stadium and this time no one was injured. The Jingdao administration closed the stadium for two weeks to investigate the incident and suspended football hungry. Jingdao administration said that the problems were caused by the ins and outs, but the project has been canceled since War of Last Brothers broke out. Fortunately, the stadium was not damaged in the war.

As part of the 2018 Micras Games, the facility was renovated and the black and white seats were replaced by yellow and white seats. The facility was not relocated between venues, which meant that people were now convinced that this building was at the end of its life. The turf era started again and it started to host amateur matches again, but there were no more passers-by.

In 2018, Jingdao left the island and the island remained in green status for a year. At that time, the Tymarian people were trying to spread back on the island, trying to get the Greater Tymaria project in motion. Tymaria took over the APL Arena and started its own so-called professional league. Also, APL Arena hosted the unofficial Tymaria National Football Team. In this stadium he played football match with unofficial states, once losing to Tymaria 15-0. Tymaria did not renovate the plant and the building continued to rot. The Tymarian Football Association settled in the building, and the broken seats were removed.

In 2019, Los Liberados supposedly captured the capital of the Tymarian State and settled in the area itself, but the APL Arena still remains green. At that time, some poplar trees sprang from the old scoreboard part.

In early 2019, Thracistan quickly captured the island, and the small town of Jackstonville, where the APL Arena is located, was renamed the Kadim and declared the capital. APL Arena belonged to the Thracistan National Football Team for a short time. Close to APL Arena, APL Mall secretly bought and registered the naming rights on it. APL Shopping Mall and the National Team got into a dispute, the victory resulted in APL Shopping Mall getting the stadium naming rights.

The National Team left the APL Arena after the events and Altay Kadim, DPR and Petmut Arena became the new users of the stadium. DPR bought and developed Jackstonville Stadium, while Petmut FC built their stadium from the ground up. Altay Kadim was the only user of APL Arena. Altay Kadim painted the stadium and administrative building with his own means, removed the rusting and rotting scoreboard and added an electronic scoreboard, renewed the seats and added a new 500 capacity tribune in front of the poplar tree. Altay Kadim then announced a new project, according to which the APL Arena would be demolished and the new location would be moved. County residents objected to this and the project was changed. The new 15,000-capacity stadium would be completely rebuilt and had a new roof. The roof was black and white and so were the seats, the lawn would be hybrid. It would also have a 100-person basketball court and a VIP area. People really liked the project, but it was canceled because a civil war was taking place at that time.

In the first civil war, three rockets hit the field of the stadium, but the bridge was not damaged. The project was announced again after the civil war, but the civil war broke out for the second time and this time the project was never realized. Altay Kadim barely managed the stadium for three years, the risk of collapse continued to increase every year, and Altay Kadim tried to solve this problem by simply plastering the cracks.

The Thracistan government was making its move to end the civil war, at that time the cabinet led by Alperen Arslan said that Project Gama was approved and Çakaristan would conduct the operation. Thracistan hastily vacated the lands, and all three teams from the capital were dispersed to other cities. Altay Kadim changed its name to Izmir Altay FK and moved to Izmir as an institution. Alperen Arslan assured Altay Izmir FK that he would construct an environmentally friendly facility and administrative building.

Altay Izmir FK left the ancient city with its players. APL subsequently withdrew its naming rights and became the sole owner of the name APL. The new name of APL Arena is Kadim City Stadium. The inhabitants of the Kadim city were enraged by this and gathered in the stadium area to protest, and things settled down in a short time. The Kadim City Stadium turned out to be unstable in tests, and the historic stadium was hastily shut down and the municipality demolished it without bidding. The destruction of the APL Arena was enraged, and it continued to be talked about across Micras (especially in Shireroth). After the demolition was complete, the land remained vacant, and the residents wanted it to be a 5,000 grandstand memorial site. A company went ahead and bribed the city government to complete the new skyscraper.

Alperen Arslan ordered an operation when he heard that the Kadim city had a very high debt ratio and that people connected with the former Hazarese government were in the administration, there were many detained people. The residents of the Kadim City accepted Erdem Şahin, who was the only candidate in the election, as the new manager. Erdem Şahin stopped the construction of the APL Arena and froze its land assets, built only one floor of the skyscraper structure on the land, and the building was put into service as the 20-storey Kadim City Hall. In the place of a tribune of the old APL Arena, there are concrete pieces hidden in a glass chamber. It is claimed that these concrete fragments belong to the year 2000. APL Arena rubble was also used in the plaster of the Kadim City Hall.
