The 1st Fugitive Pursuit Squadron was a small specialist formation of the Corps of the Gentlemen-at-Cudgels, attached administratively to the Central Commandery at Ardashirshahr, with responsibility for the pursuit and recovery of subjects suspected of flight from their assigned duty stations, and in particular of fugitives attempting to cross into the Imperial County of Shireroth from the landward borders of the Union-State.

During 1731 AN the squadron was focused upon disruoting people smuggling operations in lower Alalehzamin, as well as the suppression of planned revolt by Elw-minority protected persons in the bailiwick of Varpur discovered during the course of their normal mission.
