The Battle of Glasbridž was a hooligan street fight that took place between the ultras and hooligan groups of four national football teams following a Copa Apollonia fixture between the national teams of Gerenia and Senya. Fighting soon encompassed the Corian police, army and the hooligan groups of Coria and the Florian Republic. The fight was notable for being both the largest hooligan fight in Micrasian history, as well as being the first visible sign of alliance within the hooligan groups.

Background

In the 2018 Copa Apollonia group stage, Gerenia and Senya had been drawn against each other in Group B of the competition, alongside Jingdao and Stormark. After their opening two fixtures, the situation was that a maximum of just one of the two teams could progress, after both teams failed to beat Stormark, with Senya additionally losing to Jingdao. During Senya's opening two fixtures, supporters had become increasingly aggrieved with their federation, FADESS, and had chanted against and attacked both the federation and their own team, including attacking the team bus following their draw with Stormark. This lead to the resignation of the head coach Draco Sanchez ahead of the fixture with Gerenia. Due to the increasing problems, the main Senyan ultras group, Naldas, had decided to vote to abandon their usual policy of anti-hooliganism to pressure change within the federation.

Similarly, the Corian ultras, Zeleni, were increasingly dissatisfied with their federation following poor results in their opening games of the tournament.
