Corporate affairs and identity

Head office

Air Hoenn's head office is located on the grounds of Lilycove International Airport, in the city of Kanoya, near Lilycove. The complex was designed by the firm of Issatsu & Son, and was built by Team Houseki Co., Ltd., in 735 AHC; before that year, the airline's head office was located in the 35th through 48th floors of the Tatsumori Keita Memorial Office Building in the Sakurajima district of Lilycove, near the rail terminal of the same name.

Foreign offices

Air Hoenn's United States offices are located on the grounds of William B. Hartsfield International Airport in Atlanta, Georgia. They first leased the building in 738 AHC; before that, it was a base for Air Hoenn's ticket sales in the Southeast.

In 742 AHC, Air Hoenn moved into its new base for British and Irish operations, located in Hackney, London.

Crew base

Pilots' City, located at Lilycove International Airport, is Air Hoenn's crew base. The building, developed by Issatsu & Son and opened in 719 AHC, contains berths and parking spaces for 3,825 crew.

Vaccination center

Air Hoenn operates a vaccination center in the Nakasatsuma district of Lilycove, which distributes vaccines for international travel.

Livery

Air Hoenn's present livery comprises a white fuselage with blue cheatlines across the cabin windows, above which are Air Hoenn titles and a Hoennese flag. The tail presently depicts a stylized rayquaza head on a dark blue background; before 760 AHC, it depicted the Hoennese flag.

Destinations

On Terra, Air Hoenn is a regional airline, with domestic destinations in all four domains of Hoenn, “near abroad” destinations across the Yamatai archipelago, and international destinations in Russia, China, Korea, Southeast Asia, Hawai'i, the Australian Republic, New Zealand, and the South Pacific.

Most of Air Hoenn's Terran international flights operate from Lilycove International Airport. Air Hoenn also has strong presence at Mauville, Ehime, and Okinawa aerodromes.

Air Hoenn codeshares with a number of airlines including Aeroflot, China Eastern, Eastern, Etihad, Garuda Indonesia, KLM, Lufthansa, Northwestern, and Pan Am.

Airbus A380

Air Hoenn signed as a launch customer for the Airbus A380-800 superjumbo jet in 749 AHC. Air Hoenn ordered four A380-800s, with options on a further two. The planes, named Rayquaza One through Four, are used for nonstop routes from Lilycove to New York, London, Johannesburg, and Rio de Janeiro, respectively.

Widebody fleet

Air Hoenn owns TBD Boeing 777s, including the Hoennese royal and executive transport, Mikan One.

Narrowbody fleet

Air Hoenn has mostly disposed of its former narrowbody fleet; however, it still operates a few DC-9s for domestic inter-island routes, and the older iteration of Mikan One.

Cabin

Air Hoenn offers a mix of three- and four-cabin configurations for international routes, featuring Ichiban (select aircraft), Gold Car business class, Green Car business economy, and Standard class; short- and medium-haul routes do not include Ichiban. Personal screens with video on demand are available in all cabins.

Ichiban

Template:Ja HN, Air Hoenn's long-haul first class product, is available on the Airbus A380-800 and selected Boeing 777-300ER and 777-200LR aircraft. The Iɂban cabin features personal apartments measuring 3.6 sq m (39 sq ft) each. They include leather recliners, full-length ottomans that can fold out into beds, 60 cm (24 in) TVs with swinging mount so they can be viewed from the bed, Nintendo video games on demand, vanity cabinets, minibars with chilled drinks, noise-canceling headphones, and international power outlets. Each passenger is also provided with a personalized coat service, pure flaafy wool blanket, a cushion, and a travel kit. Turndown service includes a duvet, a hypoallergenic altaria feather pillow, sleepwear, a shoe dust bag, and a pair of slippers. Iɂban also includes à la carte on-demand meal service created by Chef Kobayashi Koichirou and private lounge access worldwide, featureing a chauffeured ride to the airport.

Gold Car

Gold Car, Air Hoenn's business class product, is featured on all international aircraft. Gold Car features 2 m long 180° recline seats, a touchscreen TV with video and video games on demand, international power outlets, an express meal service, and a three-course dinner and cheese service.

Green Car

Green Car, Air Hoenn's premium economy product, is featured on all international aircraft. It includes 123° recline seats with a 38” pitch, personal reading lamp, international power outlets, and an adjustable leg rest. Onboard amenities include noise-canceling headphones, a travel kits, a duvet, and an enhanced meal service featuring two hot meals, tradtional Hoennese sweets, and ice cream.

Standard

Standard class features 118° recline seats, touchscreens with video on demand, universal power outlets, retractable armrests, two hot meals, and on-demand snacks and alcohol.

Services

In-flight catering

Air Hoenn's in-flight menus are designed by Kobayashi Koichirou, the head chef at Wabi-Sabi, a kaiseki-ryouri fusion restaurant in Lilycove that has received three Michelin stars. Menu items include hors d'œuvres, entrées, bread baskets, and cheese, along with a dessert cart featuring Hoennese and Western desserts and sweets. On long-haul flights, Air Hoenn also serves complimentary Satsuma shouchuu or sake to passengers in all classes.

In-flight entertainment

Air Hoenn offers video on demand in all cabins. The system includes multiple channels of audio, video, music, and Nintendoh video games. Par Avion, the airline's in-flight publication, is included at each seat. On all flights, films are available in Japanese, English, Korean, and Spanish; some films may also be available in Chinese, Māori, French, Hindi, Thai, Vietnamese, Lao, Khmer, Hawai'ian, Samoan, Tongan, and Fiji Hindi. The airline also offers Berlitz language courses through the in-flight video system and in-flight Wi-Fi.

Shinden-dzukuri

Template:Ja HN, the Air Hoenn lounge, is open to Ichiban, Gold Car, and Green Car passengers, as well as Air Hoenn's frequent flyers & employees and those of their codeshares. Worldwide, there are Air Hoenn and codeshare lounges on every inhabited continent.

Eien Koukuu

Template:Ja HN, Hoenn's frequent flyer program, awards its members points based on miles traveled and class of service. Membership is free, and there are six classes of membership: Shouchi, Shougi, Shoushin, Dairei, Daijin, and Daitoku. These levels, based on the cap and rank system of ancient Yamatai, are attained by accruing a certain number of miles within one calendar year. An invitation-only card, called Otan, is offered to some VIPs, celebrities, and politicians, which is rumored to guarantee upgrade to Gold Car or Iɂban.
