The 2025–26 season is the 2nd competitive football season in Yakka.

Summary

Following the conclusion of the 2025 Bintang Muda Tournament in Daau, players Myong Hyong Jun and Noh Jun Yong were scouted for trials in Daau. The pair signed professional contracts at Caching City and Seragaan United respectively with the latter being loaned out to Jinan Island. Both players formerly played for Paggwanun.

The season started out with the 2025 Yakka Supercup that was played on 23 August 2025 between the winners and runners-up of the 2025 Yakka Premier League Chamguel and Kanggol. Kanggol won the first ever Yakka Supercup thanks to a solitary goal by Pak Jin Hwan. The 2025–26 Yakka Premier League is set to start on 30 August 2025.

On 24 August 2025, Mankosseul played a club friendly against Super League Football team Celtic FC Oldhaven after travelling to Floria for a training camp. The game ended 3–0 to Celtic. Both Paggwanun and Poranganggban played club friendlies against Dauian sides Jinan Island and Bukit Kutong respectively. Paggwanun were defeated 3–0 by Jinan Island, featuring former player Noh Jun Yong, in Jinan Island as Poranganggban were trashed 8–0 by Bukit Kutong during their training camp in Banh Nam.

Peungzzol, who placed last in the 2025 Yakka Premier League, played Coldey City at their training ground in Coldey, losing 2–0. Garanggsenggol and Changtsing had friendlies scheduled with B League 1 side Cong An Dien Noi and Daau Super League side Bintang Lukana with both Yakkan teams set to play both their foreign opponents. Garanggsenggol were defeated 3–0 by Cong An Dien Noi while Changtsing were defeated 2–0 after a strong defensive performance.

Mankosseul then travelled to Birmingham to face off Birmingham United in a 2–0 defeat while Changtsing lost 4–0 to Cong An Dien Noi. Garanggsenggol secured a shocking 0–0 draw in their last friendly against Bintang Lukana, being the first Yakkan club to not lose an international fixture.

The Yakka national football team has yet to play an international fixture.
