Myong Hyong Jun (born 2005) is a Yakkan professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Daau Super League club Caching City FC.
Club career
Born in Minka, Myong moved to the capital city in order to attend Yakka Sports School as a teenager. After graduating, Myong returned to his hometown and trialled for Pagguwan Sports Club and passed. He made his full debut against Chamguel in a 2-0 defeat.
Caching City
Following the conclusion of the 2025 Bintang Muda tournament, Myong was one of two players from the Yakkan team to be offered professional trials at clubs in the Daau Super League. Myong passed his trial with Caching City FC and signed a one-year contract with the club with an optional extension clause on 19 July 2025 pending approval from the Yakkan government to work abroad.
Myong scored against Pahak City Sailors in a 2-1 defeat on opening day to open his professional account. A rather mediocre debut season saw the Yakkan winger record only 1 goal and 2 assists across 25 Daau Super League games. The rookie winger's efforts were unable to keep Caching City from finishing bottom of the league and saw him and fellow Yakkan national Noh Jun Yong both get relegated down to the Daau Premier League. Myong opted out of the extension clause which saw him depart Caching City.
Bintang Cricket Club
Myong was snapped up by newcomers Bintang Cricket Club as their marquee foreigner for the upcoming season. Hyong Jun put pen to paper on 3 September 2026.
