Arquous (Hurmumol: Arkwass; Hurmu Norse: Arkvass; Lakkvian: Eressea järv) is the northernmost of the six Holy Lakes of Hurmu. Famous for its island Eressea with villages with Menelmacari architecture, including the Library of Eressea, Hurmu's oldest extant library.

The city of Eressea Rannik ("beach of Lake Arquous" or "beach of Eressea Island") is located along the coastline of the lake.
