Cashma Island (Hurmu Norse: Kassma oya; Lakkvian: Kašmasaar) is the largest island in Lake Cashma, Hurmu. As a municipality, it covers the entirety of the island and some areas of the lake itself.

The island is rocky with some bushy vegetation. Agriculture is near-impossible on the island, and the island has always had a low population. It is known in Hurmu history as a neutral place, a place of peace where weapons were banned, and where various tribes of Hurmu could meet and discuss their issues. In the centre of the island is a mansion, known as Cashma House, that was built by Hurmu's third baron Harald Thorstein during his tenure as a palace for himself and his family.
