The 1707 Raspur to Rusjar Air Race was conceived as an affair of honour to resolve a long-standing rivalry between the House of Osman and the House of Suren as to which house should enjoy pre-eminence over the Babkhi of Eura, the ancestral Babkhan homeland.
Course
The air race would follow a three-legged course, firstly from Raspur Airport to a prepared landing strip at Mehrshahr, the second stage would cross ungoverned wastes of Eura between Mehrshahr and Vey, whilst the final leg would see the contestants cover the greatest distance from Vey to an aerodrome under the control of the occupation government in Zeed.
