The Leichenberg national football team is the football team which represents the Sangunese-Leichenberger constituent nation of Leichenberg. It is a member of the CTFA and is the official successor of Treisenberg, and as such retains its records.

History

The team was founded in 2013 after the foundation of Leichenberg as the successor state to the Cibolan Confederation, which itself was the successor to the Sangunese-Treisenberger constituent nation of Treisenberg. The Cibolan Confederation's team was initially intended to be the official successor team to Treisenberg but the nation was dissolved prior to the completion of the 2013 FMF World Cup qualification rounds, with Leichenberg being its successor. Later in the year, still prior to the completion of qualifying, Leichenberg joined with Greater Sangun to form Sangun-Leichenberg. Under the name of Treisenberg, the team finished second in their six-team 2013 qualifying group, advancing to CiboTap 2013, where they finished fourth after losing their semi-final.
