The Isherwood derby (also known as the Port Isherwood derby) is the football match between the two top Port Isherwood clubs International SC and Isherwood CSSC.
History
Both International SC and Isherwood CSSC were the first football teams founded in the city of Port Isherwood. The first derby, played on August 8th, 2012, belonged to the Week 1 of the 2012–13 AEFA Champions' League Qualifiers. International won the match 2 – 1.
Three days later, the teams clashed again for the week 2 of the inaugural season of the Gerenian League 1. International won again, this time by a shocking 5 – 0. That match is known as the Elstree Road Disaster.
However, things were different the following derby. Isherwood defeated International for the first time 1 – 0 in a tightly-played match, with the only goal being scored by Zelmar Toscano.
Two more derbies were played before the end of 2012, both for the 2012 Gerenian National Cup. After two draws, the winner had to be decided by penalty shoot-out. Isherwood CSSC advanced to the final.
