Die Antwoord (Afrikaans pronunciation: [di ˈantvuərt]) is a Kéijō-pop duo from Danville, Tri-State Area, formed in RP 2617 in Duren Sawit, Glorioso (Karenkō) Islands, Scattered Islands, consisting of two members, Peter Pínpokíe Flynn and Thomas James "Yukitane" Minamoto (T-Nola), who were also members of Kéi-Peterpan and Scan2Go, and are the continuation of Scan2Go after the band's last album. Their music, a mix of electronic, techno and R&B, is often produced by Oboi and Ferb, and performed in Sangunese, Scattered Islands Creole and Afrikaans. They were initially known as a duo using their name from their first single, DIA, which was released as a bonus track on their first album of Tokseh Karpet.
They were rebranded as "Die Antwoord" in RP 2618 for their debut album, Tone in RP 2619.
