The Stratus Design Company, also known as Stratus Aircraft, is an aircraft manufacturing and design company headquartered in Boulonne, Meckelnburgh. Founded in 1719AN with a grant from the Ministry of Defense Affairs, Stratus Aircraft specializes in the design of trainer aircraft for military and government usage. Its main manufacturing plant is located in Victoria, Meckelnburgh. The company relies on a 55% ownership subsidy from the Meckelnburgh government, after an additional 10% was purchased in 1752AN.
Stratus Aircraft is delivered its first shipment of aircraft in 1724AN, the piston-engine T-1 Débutants and turboshaft H-1 Kennarar, to the Royal Meckelnburgh Air Force. The second generation of turbo-piston and turboprop trainers begin delivery in 1726AN with the T-2 Apprenants and T-3 Étudiants. In 1733AN, the company then introduced its first generation of twin-engine jet trainers, the T-110 Apprentis and T-120 Cadets, followed by its first glider, the TG-26 Kürzis, in 1749AN.
