Alexander Melas (born 22.III.1701 AN; Chambéry, Valencia) is a New Alexandrian political consultant and marketing strategist who serves as managing director of Melas-Bakhshi Strategic Consulting, a private political consulting and marketing firm he leads following his spouse Serina Bakhshi's appointment to the Council of State of Nouvelle Alexandrie in 1744 AN.
Originally prominent in the Nouveau Wave counterculture movement, Melas gained national recognition as a political strategist alongside Bakhshi during the 1744 general election campaign, where their defection from progressive politics to support the Federal Humanist Party was described as the party's "secret weapon"[1] in achieving a historic electoral victory.
Following Bakhshi's appointment as Secretary of Administrative Coordination and Efficiency, Melas assumed full control of their joint consulting enterprise, which has become one of the Federation's most influential political strategy firms. He had lobbied for appointment to the Department of Research and Development, but was seemingly unsuccessful in this endeavour.
His expertise in campaign messaging, digital marketing, and coalition-building has made him a sought-after consultant for Federal Humanist Party candidates and Humanist-aligned business interests, while his background in counterculture activism provides unique insights into reaching diverse voter demographics and managing political transitions.
