Spooner is the older brother of Mondosphere diplomat James Spooner, and the brother-in-law of Petra Skuryova-Spooner, Lord Lieutenant of Abrek. In 1733 AN, he revealed that he was in a relationship with Greta Mondosdottra, Minister of Policing and Security in Hurmu, who he had met through his brother.
