State owned locomotive and vehicle manufacturers, established in 1723 AN in order to reduce reliance upon chronically overburdened production lines of the Mishalan Arsenal and the Stonetree Engineering Group. Company formation consisted of nationalisation of suitable manufacturing enterprises, particularly workshops, garages and mechanical repair yards, formerly operating as liveried companies affiliated to the Guild of Artificers, within the realm of the Sovereign Confederation and the impressment of said entities' workforces with a view to their concentration at a central site in Cortallia. It should be noted that the guild took this intervention ill and made a hitherto unprecedented formal complaint to the High Presidium of the Benacian Union regarding the expropriation of a number of its members. The matter was presented to the Chamber of Guilds and Corporations for the negotiation of a settlement.
