Frederik Alfons des Vinandy (1688 AN), having ascended the Lion Throne under the name Frederik II, is King of Batavia since 1711 AN. He is the first son of Hendrik Leopold des Vinandy and Elena de Aragon.
His father abdicated due to poor health. For some time his father had been abroad recovering, but due to political pressure it was decided to hand over the crown. He immediately was confronted with several government crises, which were concluded with the annexation and integration of his kingdom into the Imperial Republic of Shireroth. In the year 1712 AN, he traveled to Raynor's Keep to prostrate himself before his new liege, Kaiseress Salome. The event was broadcasted across the country and – according to most sources – received with mild enthusiasm and celebrations.
