Operation Anthosmías, the Allied Mission to the Suren Confederacy, was commenced by the Trans-Euran Theatre Command on 19.I.1692 AN, subsequent to the announcement of the Fontainebleau Accords which had normalised relations between Constancia and the formerly antagonistic Suren, transferring the ancient city of Mehrshahr into the domains of Surenshah in return for Duranian Highlands and the alignment of Surenid defence and foreign policies with those of the Raspur Pact.

The Allied Mission, led by Nivardom Command under the operational command and control of the Imperial Constancian Armed Forces, had four primary objects:

  1. To protect and secure the sovereign territory, air space and exclusive economic zone of the Suren Confederacy;
  2. To provide security and full support (including civil engineering and logistics) for the completion of the Pan-Euran Highway along its Surenid section;
  3. To modernise the Popular Levy of the Suren Confederacy:
    1. Standardisation of training and organisation;
    2. Delivery and integration of equipment furnished under the Fontainebleau Accords;
  4. Render support to the civil power in the Suren Confederacy for the commencement of a programme of reform in its system of governance.
